Victoria (Vicky) Murray is the Associate Vice President for Public Safety, Business Affairs, and Campus Operations, and Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs and Campus Operations for the WSU Pullman campus. A proud alumna of WSU, she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.
Vicky’s career at WSU began over 30 years ago, and includes a variety of roles in both academic areas as well as central administrative units. In addition to her experience in budget and planning, her background includes experience related to institutional research, human resources, affirmative action and diversity.
In her role as Associate Vice President/Vice Chancellor, Vicky provides administrative leadership for the Division’s budget and planning activities, personnel and position control functions, and strategic planning and reporting. She oversees the Division’s IT unit, and serves in the role of Data Custodian for WSU financial, records. Vicky’s leadership responsibilities also include Police, Emergency Management, Fire & Safety, Parking & Transportation, Brelsford Visitor Center, Environmental Health & Safety, Sustainability, and Beasley Coliseum.
Vicky’s current committee responsibilities include: Vice-Chair of the Whitcom E-911 Executive Board (past Chair), University Services and Activities Fee Committee, CUB Advisory Board, Emergency Management Advisory Committee, Safety Steering Committee, Data & Analytics Governance Council, and the Finance and Administration Advisory Council. She also serves Student’s Book Corporation Board of Directors, and is WSU’s representative on the Pullman Moscow Regional Airport Board.
Vicky’s professional affiliations include the National Association of College and University Business Officers, the Western Association of College and University Business Officers, and the Society for Human Resource Management.
